Project management services augment existing in-house personnel with experienced management professionals who will work as a member of the team to ensure complete customer satisfaction. Starent Networks' project managers serve as your company's focal point for any project, issue, or question. They facilitate regular meetings between our two companies, making sure that seamless communications occur at all times and at all levels.
Project Management
Our Professional Services project managers take responsibility for the entire project, including:
- Developing and communicating project plans for:
- Initial network designs and specifications
- Testing sessions
- Lab and field trials
- Network and equipment installation
- Network-wide software updates
- System upgrades
- Scheduling and participation in:
- Project status meetings to make sure our projects stay on track, through the delivery of written reports and review meetings
- Monthly communication meetings to ensure that we are listening, and more importantly, executing on what we hear
- Project completion reviews
- Coordinating and directing all other Starent Networks or third party resources and personnel
- Ensuring the smooth transition of our change and issue management process to make ensure that customer issues are resolved in a timely manner
To accomplish this, our project managers maintain overall control of the project: defining, measuring, and reporting on all related activities. Our project managers work closely with each customer to document work plans and execute to that plan by coordinating and directing resources to meet cost and time objectives. Starent Networks' project managers provide regular project updates, denoting key events as milestones. By maintaining focus on these milestones, we help ensure that critical dates are met — further ensuring the successful deployment of the service.
Supporting our project managers is a team of engineers and other specialists in the areas of planning and development, deployment, and lifecycle management. In addition to this team, the collective resources of Starent Networks are available to be leveraged by our project management team. |
