The Starent PDSN/FA and HA have rapidly become the solution of choice by the world’s largest CDMA2000 1xEV-DO production networks. The solution is ideal for high-density network deployments as it is capable of supporting up to 1,500,000 subscriber sessions. Three chassis can be installed in a standard 48 RMU telecommunications rack or equipment cabinet. The PDSN/FA and HA support Simple IP, Proxy Mobile IP, Mobile IP, and IPv6 applications (independently or simultaneously) within a single scalable platform.
The Starent PDSN/FA and HA are architected to support all MMD related PDSN/FA and HA functions, such as flow-based charging and Quality of Service (QoS) without requiring a forklift upgrade, thus ensuring investment protection as your network evolves to multimedia rich services that drive average revenue per user (ARPU) and subscriber satisfaction. In addition, the PDSN/FA and HA include the latest 1xEV-DO Rev.
